DentiPath SkillsLab support
Support is handled directly by the DentiPath team. Email support@dentipath.ca with the app version, device model, iOS or iPadOS version, and a short description of what happened.
Does SkillsLab require an account or internet connection?
No account is required. The learning modules, tooth viewer, scoring, history, and optional AR viewer use bundled resources and work locally. Product information, purchase, and restoration use Apple’s App Store connection; after a verified purchase, Full Access works offline. Website links and other Apple platform services require their ordinary connections.
How do I unlock or restore Full Access?
Full Access is one permanent, non-consumable in-app purchase. The purchase screen shows Apple’s current localized price. To restore an earlier purchase made with the same Apple Account, open Settings > Access and choose Restore Purchases. The free starter path, 54-tooth viewer, practice history, exports, imports, recovery, legal information, credits, and accessibility guidance remain available without purchasing.
Why does SkillsLab ask for camera permission?
Camera access is optional and used only for the AR tooth viewer. Denying permission does not block the standard 3D viewer or learning modules. SkillsLab does not record, save, or upload camera photos or video.
How do I move or remove practice history?
Use Progress to export a summary or detailed practice file, and Settings to import a compatible SkillsLab file. Clear Practice History removes local attempts and recovery copies from the app. Files exported elsewhere must be deleted from their destination separately.
What should I include in a bug report?
Include the screen or module, tooth model if applicable, app version from Settings, device and OS version, and steps that reproduce the problem. A screenshot or screen recording helps. Do not include patient information or other sensitive material.
How do I report an accessibility problem?
Email the assistive technology or setting you use, the action you were trying to complete, and where the problem occurred. SkillsLab supports feedback about VoiceOver, Switch Control, keyboard, pointer, Apple Pencil, text size, contrast, motion, and transparency.
Can SkillsLab determine clinical readiness?
No. SkillsLab is an educational, pre-clinic study aid. Its scores use task-specific geometric rules and do not assess readiness for patient care or replace faculty instruction, supervised simulation, or professional judgment.
Never send patient names, chart numbers, clinical images, treatment notes, or other patient-identifying information in a support request.
