About DentiPath

Purpose-built tools for a dental career.

DentiPath™ is an independent Canadian software company building small, careful, privacy-first tools for dental students and professionals—from anatomy practice and education planning to production and pay.

DentiPath gives dental students and professionals focused tools to understand the anatomy, decisions, work, and numbers that shape a dental career.

The purpose

Important parts of a dental career are often scattered across tools built for someone else. Students move between static references and generic planning sheets. Associates see their work and income through practice systems, owner reports, and payroll summaries. When a concept or number needs a second look, there is rarely one focused place of their own to use.

It’s a quiet, fixable gap. Dental students and professionals deserve tools shaped around how dentistry is learned, planned, and practised. Those tools should remain understandable, focused, and under the user’s control.

The mission

To give dental students and professionals clear, private, dental-specific tools to practise anatomy, plan education and career decisions, model expected pay, track production, and reconcile pay periods. Current releases are built local-first, with no account required for the core experience and user-entered records stored on the device by default.

What guides how it’s built

01

Privacy is architecture

Local-first storage by default, no DentiPath account required for the core experience, and no advertising tracking in current app releases. Cloud, browser, and account features are not included in current releases and would be clearly explained before release.

02

Dental-specific, or not at all

Tooth notation, landmarks, mirror vision, splits, lab-fee drag, adjusted production, and daily guarantees. If a generic app could do it just as well, DentiPath doesn’t build it.

03

No patient data, by design

DentiPath products use educational models and non-identifying financial line items. They are designed to avoid patient-identifying information entirely.

04

Narrow and finished

Small tools that answer a real question completely beat platforms that answer everything halfway.

05

Honest boundaries

For educational practice, planning, and record-keeping—not professional advice. Estimates are labelled, and clinical or professional judgment stays with qualified people.

06

Earn trust slowly

In a profession this connected, trust compounds. One careless release destroys it. Every release is deliberate.

Out of scope, by design

DentiPath is not practice-management software or a clinical decision system, and it is not trying to become either one. Patient charting, scheduling, billing, insurance claims, diagnosis, treatment guidance, and employer-facing dashboards are out of scope. SkillsLab is an educational practice tool, not a substitute for supervised instruction. DentiPath belongs to the individual student or professional.

What’s next

Today, DentiPath Launch helps plan the cost of dental education, DentiPath Finance models associate and practice decisions, and DentiPath Ledger keeps an independent production and pay record. DentiPath SkillsLab is coming soon with short, focused anatomy drills and interactive tooth review for iPhone and iPad. What comes next will follow the same principle: focused dental tools, local-first by default, with clear boundaries.
