Offer A
Offer B
What this estimates
This calculator compares the total modelled cost of two offers across their program length. It includes recurring tuition, living costs, annual fees, one-time travel, annual cost increases, and non-debt aid or support.
Formula or method
Each offer grows annual tuition, living costs, and fees by the entered annual increase. Total travel is added once, and scholarships or non-debt support are subtracted to produce net modelled cost.
Worked example
A school with higher tuition can still have a lower net cost if the program is shorter, living costs are lower, or scholarships are larger. The result shows the size of the difference, not which school you should choose.
Inputs explained
- Program length and annual school charges.
- Realistic living-cost estimate for the school location.
- Travel and relocation costs.
- Scholarships, bursaries, grants, and non-repayable support.
Common mistakes
- Comparing sticker tuition without living costs.
- Subtracting a loan as if it reduced the cost.
- Ignoring annual fee increases and exchange-rate uncertainty.
- Letting a cost result replace academic, clinical, licensing, and personal-fit review.
